Kosciusko Community Hospital offers emergency care services when you need them most. The emergency department team is ready to assist you in emergency situations with all board certified ER physicians.
KCH is the only emergency department in the county that is an accredited chest pain center and accredited stroke center, and we work with local EMS teams throughout the area to provide prompt and professional, readily available emergency care.
We offer a large waiting area with private registration, two triage rooms, three critical care rooms, two OB/GYN rooms, two pediatric exam rooms, one ear nose and throat exam room, two orthopedic/minor procedure rooms, one isolation room, five general exam rooms and two observation rooms. All patient care rooms have cardiac monitor capability. A radiology room and film processing is located in the ECC for immediate access by the medical team.

KCH is an accredited chest pain center. This means that processes are in place to quickly diagnose and treat chest pain patients. The emergency department houses specialized cardiac rooms, and nurses specially trained in cardiac care staff the center, which is accredited by the American College of Cardiology Accreditation Services.
Kosciusko Community Hospital, which is recognized nationally for its care of stroke patients, is a primary stroke center. According to The Joint Commission, which bestows this designation, primary stroke certification is the Gold Seal of Approval™ for quality and safety. The center is recertified every three years.
